chris and weston were in need of haircut so we happened upon this cool barber shop...what was even cooler for weston was a police man made an appointment for a haircut. weston got very excited that that is where policemen get their hair cut, so he was very brave like a police man and sat on his own in the barber shop to get his hair cut. it was the first time that he hasn't sat on my lap for a haircut ever...very cute, fun experience for him.

salzburg
over thanksgiving weekend we took a six hour train ride to salzburg. neither chris or i had been there. it was definitely one of my top ten places i've traveled to. the charm, magic, and spirit of the city was almost fairytale-like...we're so happy we went, and the boys, like always, were travel troopers!
train ride...
christmas market...
views and walk from our apartment into town...
weston's first time ice skating...
and the fortress rohensalzburg...a spectacular castle nestled in the city...
loves and thankful for you all...

the last week...
we met a couple with two kiddos when we went to a halloween festival a couple weeks ago. the guy heard chris speaking english and the relationship started from there. he is from victoria and his wife is from the czech republic. they have a daughter, lola who is a couple weeks older than weston, and a son nino, who is a couple weeks older than raleigh. we hung out with them last weekend and went to their place which was very fun for us and the kids. the gal is an artist and the guy reminds me a lot of chris with his disposition and pure love for his kids.
it has been cold here and sunny. yesterday it snowed! it didn't stick but it was fun to see the city through white sparkles in the sky...hard to get a pic of the snow with the lighting...
we have a month left here in prague. for thanksgiving weekend we are heading to salzburg on the train. we are looking forward to seeing the city in winter and the christmas market...
loves! ahoy! happy thanksgiving...i am so thankful for all of you...xo

our irish friend...
he came from ireland. carrick on shannon, ireland to be exact. chris has known him before he knew me. he led a tour though south america and mick was on it. he's really an genuinely great guy who had both boys smitten with him the minute he walked into the door...with presents in tow...:)
his lovely wife, katrina, who could not make it to prague helped with the presents...cool hats and cool socks...
we went to the farmers market and then got a sitter and the three of us hit the town!
i hope for peace in our world...
